How AidBridge handles third-party content

  • AidBridge generally links to official or openly licensed external materials (for example OpenStax and Open Textbook Library titles, government sites, and organizations' own pages). It does not host third-party textbook files.
  • AidBridge does not claim ownership of third-party works, names, or trademarks. Organization and product names belong to their owners; listing them does not imply partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.
  • Open-license information (like CC BY or CC BY-NC-SA) is shown for convenience and is verified against official sources where possible; entries with unconfirmed licensing are labeled “License verification pending” and point users to the official source. Always confirm the license on the official page before reusing a work.
  • AidBridge may temporarily disable disputed content while a report is reviewed.
  • AidBridge never intentionally links to pirated copies. If we got something wrong, we want to fix it quickly.

Request a correction or removal

If you are a rights holder (or an organization listed on AidBridge) and want content corrected or removed, email AidBridge does not yet publish a monitored contact address. Please do not send sensitive information; signed-in users can delete their account from the account page. and include:

  • the work or listing in question;
  • the AidBridge URL where it appears;
  • who you are and your relationship to the work/organization;
  • what's wrong (infringement, outdated info, unwanted listing, incorrect description…).

We will investigate and respond. Content confirmed to be infringing or listed in error will be corrected or removed.

AidBridge has not yet registered a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office; registration is on the team's action list. This page is a good-faith reporting channel and is not a substitute for formal legal process.
